The Town of Tusayan (pronounced Too-Say-Ann) is the closest town to Grand Canyon National Park, just one mile from the south rim entrance, and is open year-round. The lands encompassing the Town of Tusayan include the nation's largest contiguous Ponderosa Pine Forest and the recently designated Baaj Nwaavjo I'tah Kukveni National Monument. These lands are globally recognized for their historic, cultural, and wild significance.
